Member search update
on November 18th, 2007 by vertigo jones
Hey guys,
We’ve made it a little easier to find your friends on Stirrdup and invite any friends who aren’t already members. If you head over to our new invitation page you’ll be able to enter your Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, or AOL username and password to search for Stirrdup members in your address book. Don’t worry, we don’t save any of your information (or any of your friends). There are also tools there to invite the ones who aren’t already stirring it up.
The links that get sent to your friends include a referrer id. This will let us know who’s best at spreading the word. While we don’t have the tools ready yet, we’ll be displaying some cool stats regarding this on your profiles and throwing contests to see who gets the most friends to join.
Thanks guys!
Stirrdup Nominated for Vbulletin’s “Board of the Month”
on November 6th, 2007 by vertigo jones
Good news, we’ve been nominated for Vbulletin’s “Board of the Month“. Wish us luck. If we win, I promise I’ll wear my prettiest dress to the ceremony.
(I know we’re not a board per se, but Stirrdup is built on the fantastic Vbulletin framework.)

Hey guys,
We’ve received a few reports of problems over night because of our upgrade to PHP 4 to PHP 5. Looks like we missed a few things. Everything should be fixed shortly. Thanks for all your help and please keep reporting any bugs you find.
